El Grupo Ladron has been booked by the Costa Maya Festival to highlight International Night and bring their romantic grupero vibes to Saturday night, August 8, 2015. The group fits the line of entertainment provided by the festival highlight and conclude the three-day festival that takes place annually in August.
El Grupo Ladron is one the most successful Mexican groups in the romantic grupero musical category. They originated in Monterrey, Mexico and it was the song ‘Tu me Quieres Lastimar’ that launched them to international status and win awards in countries including Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Guatemala, Mexico, Belize and the United States of America, among others. Grupo Ladron’s music is categorized as Grupero, regional Mexicano, Balada and Cumbia.
Meet Miss Nicaragua Costa Maya Pageant Delegate
The country of Nicaragua has submitted its candidate to represent the country at the Miss Costa Maya Pageant that will open the Costa Maya Festival on August 6, 2015. Yuliset de Los Angeles Sotelo Laguna was a semi-finalist at the Miss Nicaragua Pageant 2015; placing fifth. She is a 22 year old business manager who likes dancing, listening to music, spending time with family, reading magazines, modeling and visiting new places. She stands at 5 feet 5 inches tall, has dark brown hair and eyes and tanned skin.
“I am very excited and extremely proud to represent my country at this international pageant,” commented Yuliset Sotelo to Nicaragua press La Prensa. “I feel very confident and am already preparing myself to do great at the pageant and make my country proud.
Contestants of the Costa Maya Pageant arrive in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize on July 29, spend some time exploring the island, hosted by Fido’s Restaurant upon their arrival, welcomed to the island at Noche Sanperana showcase held at Ramon’s Village. Pageant night is on Thursday, August 6.
