Grace Brown to Represent San Pedro at Miss Teen Belize Pageant

Fifteen year old Grace Brown is set to represent La Isla Bonita, San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, at the Miss Teen Belize pageant. She along with three other contestants from around the country were officially presented with there sash this past weekend, April 29, 2017, at Finn and Martini.

“I am looking forward to enjoy myself with my companions, have a great experience, focus on contributing to our environment and environmental issues, devote all my time to practice and train as hard as I can to make my Isla Bonita proud.” – Grace Brown.

Miss Teen Belize will be held under the theme “Natural Essence of Mother Nature” on May 27, 2017 at Mahogany Bay Village in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. The sashing ceremony marks the beginning of the official schedule of events and activities leading up to the pageant.

Miss Teen Belize organizer, Vivian Noralez, explains that two contestants back down from the pageant just before the sashing ceremony and she has reached out to other young girls who had auditioned for the pageant. It will be announced if more participants sign up for Miss Teen Belize.

Joining Grace on stage will be 18-year-old Kiah Lisani Pastor from Belmopan, 17-year-old Vineesha Price from Belize City and 15-year-old Julene García from Punta Gorda, Toledo.
