After almost fifty years of success with Belikin, the Belize Brewing Company continues to grow with the introduction of Belikin Light. The new member of the Belikin family was introduced at a press conference on Tuesday, June 27 at the Tap Room at the Belize Brewing Company, Ladyville.
Belikin Light is the new light beer option in the Belize Brewing Company portfolio. With its low calorie count, Belikin Light’s great drinkability makes it the perfect choice for the consumer with an active lifestyle. Belikin Light will be sold at the same great price as Belikin Beer and Stout. The bottle will also have a refund value of $0.25 cents like other Belikin beers.
Brewed in the classic European lager style, using Canadian Pilsner malt and a blend of German hops, Belikin Light has a light, balanced flavor. “With a low alcohol content of 3.8%, this pale golden lager is refreshing and tastes great,” stated Belize Brewing Company. “It will be brewed at the company’s state-of-the-art brewery using the highest quality ingredients and ultra-purified water from the Maya Mountains. We hope you are as excited about this new brew as we are!”
Belikin Light will also be available nationwide so that Belizeans and tourists who might favor a lighter alternative will have a new choice.
