Following a big win for world champion Mikey Garcia on Saturday, March 10, 2018, the boxer arrived in Belize the following day Sunday. The superstar boxer is in the country to do some charitable work and build some homes for the poor.
Garcia announced this trip to Belize during an interview after winning his latest fight this past weekend. Details of his humanitarian trip to Belize are not known at this time, but Garcia was spotted at the Belize’s Phillip Goldson International Airport as he arrived. He took pictures with Belize Immigration Officers and other fans. According to sources, he headed to the southern part of the country.

Garcia’s victory over Lipinets on Saturday made him a world champion in his fourth weight class, placing him among fellow greats Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao.
