Easter Monday reveals just how much excess there was on Ambergris Caye during the long weekend holiday – Excess traffic, excess parties, excess drinking… We came across this golf cart damaged and pushed up a couple steps in front of the Trust Hardware building on Coconut Drive. The facts as to what occurred are not totally clear yet, as owners of the vehicles also woke up to discover their golf cart that was parked overnight almost totally damaged. Evidence at the scene suggests that a taxi driver was the culprit of the hit and run. The taxi’s bumper, with license plate, was left at the scene of the crash. San Pedro Police was called to the site and we don’t believe they will have a difficult time finding the person responsible for the accident.
