The Belize Medical Associates San Pedro Clinic was officially inaugurated on Saturday, September 7, 2019. The clinic is located in Northern San Pedro on the premises of Grand Caribe Resort and they have partnered to bring specialized medical care on the island for both local residents and to the growing tourism sector.
The official ribbon cutting was carried out by Grand Caribe Manager Sean Feinstein, Belize Medical Associates Board Chairman Dr. Marcelo Coyi, Resident Doctor of BMA San Pedro Clinic Dr. Renae Reasa and Mayor Daniel Guerrero.
Sean Feinstein and Dr. Marcelo Coyi addressed those in attendance and guests were then given a complete tour of the entire facility. The Belize Medical Associates San Pedro Clinic offers day time medical services to the general public which includes physician consultations, full clinical laboratory, pharmacy, digital X-rays and ultrasound services.
X-rays are digital and interpretations are done by experienced radiologists in Belize City. Specialists include Internal-Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Dermatology, Gastroenterology and Psychology on a rotation basis.
Grand Caribe Resort staff and residents (also guests) will receive special packages via their Exclusive Medical Membership Card and at the moment are the only ones who can receive medical attention after hours. BMA will be working on expanding this service to the general public and will be informing as to when the services will be available.
The Belize Medical Associates San Pedro Clinic’s opening hours are from Monday to Friday, from 8AM to 5PM and Saturdays from 9AM to 12PM. To make appointments or for more information, call 226-2262.
