The Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation (MTCA) and El Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo (INGUAT) hosted a 2019 Sellers Networking, Route Reconnaissance & Border Crossing Overview Meeting and Familiarization Trip on September 2nd and 3rd, 2019 at the OAS Adjacency Zone in Benque Viejo Del Carmen, Cayo, Belize.
Guatemala and Belize’s connectivity presents an opportunity for multi-destination tourism trips. With this scope in mind, MTCA and INGUAT hosted this sellers meeting and familiarization trip with hoteliers and tour operators from both Cayo District and Peten, Guatemala to strengthen their collaboration to attract the long haul markets and to promote a joint route to enrich the traveller’s experience.
