US Air Force Delivers Four Ambulances and A Fire Truck to Belize

On Saturday, September 28, 2019, the United States Air Force C5 GALAXY landed at the Phillip Goldson International Airport of Belize with a huge delivery of four ambulances and one fire truck to Belize.

BERT Belize, Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise and Southern Emergency Services Belize received a special donation of 4 ambulances and a fire truck courtesy the USAF through the kind generosity of Alberta Health Services, Alberta Honda, The City of Calgary, Calgary Firefighters Association, and Edmonton Riverview Rotary Club.

The Southern Emergency Services Belize Facebook page made a post giving special thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Roman Bayrock and Edmonton Riverview Rotary club for making things possible on the Canadian end, to the US Military Denton program and their phenomenal crew for the transport of the units, Belize City Sunrise Rotary group for hosting all of the EMS crews, and to the Corozal Fire Department and Belize Emergency Response team our brothers and sisters in EMS.

Two ambulance units will become part of the Sothern Emergency Services Belize Fleet and BERT (Belize Emergency Response Team) will receive an ambulance and the Kolbe Foundation will be receiving one as well. As for the fire truck it will be delivered to the Corozal Fire Service.
