San Pedro Police Keeping Guns Off the Streets

San Pedro Police are working hard on keeping La Isla Bonita safe and have conducted several patrols and as a result they have successfully arrested and charged several individuals for having a firearm without proper licenses.

On Thursday, December 12th, 2019, about 6:00 a.m., Police was conducting patrol in the Northern San Pedro, as a result, they conducted searches on Marcus Garcia 25-year-old, Belizean maintenance worker of 10 miles North of San Pedro Town, the search resulted in the discovery of (1) One Chrome .38 revolver Smith & Wesson brand and (4) .38 live round of ammunition. Garcia was unable to produce a gun license, so as a result, police arrested Garcia for Kept Firearm and Ammunition without a gun license.

Police also searched Alex Matura 22-year-old, Belizean Laborer of San Pedrito area, San Pedro Town, the search resulted in the discovered of (1) Chrome 380 pistol with black pistol Grip Browning Brand, and (24) live .380 ammunition, Matura, likewise was unable to produce a gun license, he was arrested and charged for Kept Firearm and Ammunition without gun license.

On Thursday, December 12th, 2019, about 4:00 a.m., whilst police were on patrol in the Northern San Pedro, they conducted searches on Mathew Moses 41-year-old, Belizean laborer of San Pedro Town. The search resulted in the discovery of one (1) 9mm pistol. As a result, Moses was formally arrested for a kept unlicensed firearm.
