Mexican superstar singer/actor Pedro Fernandez highlighted the Dia de San Pedro Festival for 2022 with a spectacular performance that included the special performance of a fantastic Mariachi band from Mexico City. He culminated the two days of festivities with a concert that delighted everyone in attendance.
For quite some time now the Dia de San Pedro celebrations on the island of Ambergris Caye had been limited to only the religious part of the festivities under the San Pedro Roman Catholic Church, but this year the San Pedro Town Council took the initiative to include bigger entertainment for residents to enjoy. In addition to Pedro Fernandez, the Town Council moved the Miss San Pedro Pageant from September to this year’s June festival. Pageant night was also highlighted with an afterparty with international DJ Osocity.
