Ever since our good old Parish Priest, Rev. Robert Raszkowski, popularly known as Father Raz, initiated this sea procession to honor our Patron Saint Peter, it has become a very significant annual event in the Roman Catholic Church and this community. It gives all the men of the sea- fishermen, divers and tour guides plus others an opportunity to have their sea vessels blessed in the hope of bringing stability to their jobs and protecting them from storms and misfortunes at sea. It also gives the families the opportunity to meet at church as a one unified community to honor our patron and to commit our pledges as good Sanpedranos.
