Mohamad Hamad Harmouch boasts his medal that he won at the International Boxing event that took place in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye on Friday, November 18, 2011 at the R. Angel Nuñez Auditorium. He shared it with Hon. Manuel Heredia, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation as he was one of the major sponsors of the event.
Mohamad along with seven other Belizeans, that included Jimmy Jo Polonio and Gilbert Omier, battled it out in the ring against boxers from Mexico in welter and middleweight classes. The San Pedro Amateur boxing event was sanctioned by the Belize Boxing Association.
Needless to say, the auditorium was jam-packed with boxing fans and especially with supporters of Mohamad who was also the big winner at the first boxing event that took place earlier this year. Six of our Belizean boxers were triumphant in their own bouts. Congratulations to all.
