The staff of Ambergris Today/iTravel Belize were in San Ignacio Cayo over the weekend and one of the events we attended was the first ever MICE familiarization social event hosted by the San Ignacio Resort Hotel on Saturday, November 7, 2015.
MICE stands for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events and the cocktail social highlighted why the San Ignacio Resort Hotel has one of the leading conference, banquets, meeting and events hosting centers in the country. In fact, the resort caters to conference travelers and hosts a variety of Belizean corporate meetings/parties throughout the year. It is the go-to place for meetings and events, big or small.

The resort invited local businesses and media and showcased over 5500 sq. ft of meeting space, the largest in the Cayo District, and introduced the amazing team at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel who make the establishment so special and successful.
Their guests enjoyed local music, drinks and hors d’oeuvres which showed off the hotels unparalleled catering services and signature dishes of its popular restaurant. It was also an opportunity to visit the hotel’s newly remodeled Running W Steakhouse & Restaurant.
