The San Pedro Holiday Boat Parade Committee has been working arduously year after year to provide residents every Christmas a spectacular Lighted Boat Parade. Businesses are always willing to donate to this committee and with additional funds collected this year, Jan Brown, Chairlady of the Boat Parade Committee was more than pleased to hand out monetary donations to three organizations in the island on Tuesday, January 12, at the San Pedro Town Council.

SP Thief linked to multiple burglaries. *The brave and commendable actions of Roxanne Ancona on the morning of Monday, January 4, when her home was invaded, led Police to the quick arrest of Victor Manuel Hernandez Quiroz, 18-year-old, Belizean unemployed of San Pedrito Area. He had no choice but to seek medical attention for his injury to his head and that was when he was identified and ended up in Police custody that same day.

Blue Water Grill, Caliente & Red Ginger restaurants accept Donations Commit to doubling all Funds Collected San Pedro, Belize, January 11, 2010 – Three of San Pedro’s most popular restaurants, Blue Water Grill, Caliente and Red Ginger, are now giving back to Belize in an innovative way. The restaurants recently partnered with Liberty Children’s Home, a shelter and school for abandoned and abused children in Belize City, to help raise money and awareness for the non-profit organization.

Town Council’s Connection s with Belize Eco Adventure will help with Island’s Tourism On April 24, 2009 Mayor Elsa Paz visited Los Angeles, California upon invitation from the Consul General of Belize to California, Hon. Roland H. York. The purpose of the trip was to meet with Belizeans living in LA and for Belizeans to meet with some of the Representatives of Belize. During the trip they met with their lovely guide Mrs. Marsha Vargas owner of Belize Eco Adventures, who was on the island last week on a business trip.

Shyne confirmed his determination to get to work on his new album this month after recruiting producer Shawty Redd to assist on the project. Redd reportedly flew out to Belize so the two could begin work on the long-awaited LP. I came out of my room and checked the living room only to find a young man calmly searching my purse,” commented Mrs. Ancona.
